i feel like im the only bitch thats going to win the riverdale finale no matter what because the horse i love to bet on is that riverdale will be whatever it is week to week and thats what i like most about it. and people will ask but what if no jarchie what if bad ending etc. and i gotta be honest here my biggest riverdale disappointment will never be jarchie (which would be extremely nice if it happened) but the fact that they never fully did a tribute to the 1973 barbra streisand movie the way we were. like it’s not even the fact that they never did abortion or anything either that’s what's real shit to me that will haunt me forever. they did communism 500 times but they never paid their respects to barbra... whats wrong with barbra...

i generally believed most people possessed average reading comprehension skills and media literacy... just like base level stuff... but actually the more i talk to regular people (not tumblrinas who only think about blorbos and the implications) about pieces of media the more apparent it becomes that people just dont understand how storytelling actually... operates... like writing mechanics and literary devices. actually a good majority should not have passed 9th grade english maybe.

It being Elon's favorite game (or at least one so important to him that his biographer dedicates a lot of time to it) is.....really really funny.

Basically, imagine Civilization, but as a mobile game. So like if Civilization Revolution was even more dumbed down (that's a Civilization insult. That's devastating. It's devastated right now). For what it's worth, it's not a bad game. On the contrary, from what I could tell in the little bit of time I played it, it's a perfectly competent game with good design. But it's not a deep game by any means. I played through it once, won easily on my first go, then saw that the other playable characters had barely any differences between them.

Fun ADHD hack is that you're allowed to just go to the library and reserve a study room for a couple of hours and make all your phone calls or whatever adult shit you need to do but can't because your house is for House Stuff and for some reason your brain has designated "phone calls for doctors and other such things" as School Adjacent and therefore refuses to do it in an insufficently academic environment. Like it's free. You can just do that.
